$500.00 Door Stop
Yesterday the new computer just refused to boot. It wanted it's program disk to boot. Stephen Caron never gave me the program disk. The computer is now off at the local many dollars per hour computer fix it shop, where they will buy and install windows XP-Pro, (replacing the XP- Home Edition Stephen bought with my money), try and recover all my data, and partition the damned thing into the setup I originally ordered. At the princely rate of $90/hour. At least they come well recommended. Buy then, so did Stephen Caron. And I won't have to go to Bolingbrook Illinois to deal with them. And if they do good work, I will recommend them to everyone I know.
This whole grim experience has made me more aware of my disabilities than anything has in a long time, and I think that sucks. I'm so weary of being a good sport about being disabled I could scream! Still, didn't cause it, can't change it, can't cure it. Might as well live with it. I can survive anything! Love the new picture of a painted bunting. Hope you will like it too!
The local place gave me a receipt for the "new" computer when they picked it up. Have a nice week, everybody.
